Boast & Drive Game for 3

Procedure

  • player 1 starts with a boast
  • player 2 plays straight drive or drop-shot
  • player 3 plays straight drive or boast from the back to player 2, or
  • player 3 plays straight drive or drop-shot from the front to player 2

Allowed hits

  • from the front, straight drive into the back 1/4 court or drop-shot to the front
  • from the back, straight drive into the back 1/4 court or high boast (over the serve line) to the front

In principle the following applies

  • as long as straight shots are played (drive or drop), only 2 players are in play
  • the waiting player only comes into play when the call comes to his side of the court

Scoring method

  • score down from 10 "lives" to 0
  • the first player on 0 points loses the game
  • the player with the most points wins the game

Facilitation / Options

  • no restriction for the boast
  • no restriction for the straight drive
  • play withot drop-shot
  • play with a softball

Complications / Options

  • play to the waiting player: cross drop-shot from the front
  • play to the waiting player: cross drive from the front
  • challenge the players with new rules
